Hutchison Ports Delta II on the Maasvlakte, as the third container terminal in Rotterdam, has started rolling out this final link in the Secure Chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The check is done by comparing the EAN number on the visiting driver&#8217;s CargoCard with the EAN number in the carrier&#8217;s Portbase pre-notification. Only if both numbers match will the gate open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hutchison Ports Delta II will soon make participation mandatory, but carriers can already participate on a voluntary basis now. Signing up can be done <strong><a href=\"mailto:vertrouwensketen@hutchisonportsdelta2.com\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the ECT Delta terminal and the ECT Euromax terminal, the obligation already exists.
